Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, preparing for a psychedelic journey, or simply tired of carrying it all alone, I’m here to walk the path with you.Hi, I’m chelsea phegley.
I work with people who often feel out of step with the world, like there’s a rulebook everyone else seems to know that was never handed to them. Many are navigating complex trauma, grief, identity shifts, burnout (including neurodivergent burnout), or moral injury. Often, there’s also a quiet inner knowing that something needs to shift, even if it’s not yet clear how.
My clients tend to be thoughtful, self-aware, and deeply feeling. They’re ready for meaningful change, but want to move in a way that feels safe, respectful of their nervous system, and grounded in real support.
My work is deeply relational and body-based. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS level 2), trauma and attachment informed somatic practices, and my background in cultural anthropology, which shapes how I understand meaning, healing, and the human experience. I believe you already carry what you need to heal, and that the right conditions, safety, presence, and support, allow that to unfold.
The way I work is close and attentive. I track what’s happening in your experience, both what’s spoken and what’s felt, and adjust in real time so you don’t have to navigate it alone. Many people I work with have spent much of their lives feeling misunderstood or have had to figure things out on their own. This work is different. You are met, accompanied, and supported throughout.
Whether we’re in a coaching session or a psilocybin journey, I place a strong emphasis on preparation and integration. Insights alone are not enough, what matters is how they take root in your life. Together, we make meaning of what emerges and translate it into something real, usable, and aligned with who you are.
Before this work, I spent over a decade as a nurse in intensive care and rapid response, supporting people and families through some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. That experience continues to shape how I show up, steady, present, and able to be with complexity and intensity without losing connection.
I was born and raised in rural Alaska, which instilled a deep respect for the natural world and a lasting curiosity about what it means to be human.
I hold this work with a deep sense of honor and respect. For many, it touches something tender, meaningful, and hard to put into words. It’s an honor to walk alongside people as they reconnect with themselves in ways that feel real and lasting.
What ties my work together is a respect and admiration for the wisdom of the nervous system, the healing power of relationship, and the way our bodies hold stories waiting to be heard. I believe your healing Journey is unique to you and together we uncover what works for you.
We slow down. We listen to your body. We build safety inside and out. Together we follow what’s ready to emerge with care, curiosity, consent, and a deep respect for your inner process. I believe that healing doesn’t have to be a slog, we can grow more joy in our lives and have fun along the way.
My Approach
This isn’t traditional talk therapy.
While we do use language to make meaning, much of our work happens beneath words, in the body, the nervous system, and the moment-to-moment experience of being you.
I work in a highly attuned, responsive way, tracking what’s happening in real time and adjusting as we go. Rather than following a fixed method, I follow you, your pace, your patterns, and what is ready to be seen or shifted.
We might slow down, notice what’s happening in your body, explore different parts of you, or gently stay with something that would usually be avoided. Over time, this creates safety from the inside out, allowing patterns to soften and new ways of relating to yourself to emerge.
There is also a strong emphasis on integration. Insight alone isn’t the goal, what matters is how your experience begins to translate into your actual life, in ways that feel real, supportive, and sustainable.
This work is collaborative, experiential, and deeply personal. It’s less about analyzing your life from the outside, and more about learning how to be with yourself differently from within.
